It has been more than 18 months since I wrote the last blog. A long gap indeed. Reason, I am not sure. Just went off just like that. May be my general lack of interest in anything virtual has something to do with it ! Age is catching up and I started wondering why I should write at all.
I started this blog as an adjunct to my web site dealing with Leadership and Management and wrote mostly about topics in that domain. I did reflect on life and my own experiences once in a while in between.
During this interlude when I went off line , what captured my imagination most in life is the advent of medium like Skype and later Face Time . These have become part of our family life almost daily cutting down distances and connecting me and my wife with both our children in the US. What a pleasant development indeed.
Another technology which facilitates socializing on the move is the smart phone loaded with goodies . It has empowered us to remain connected everywhere . The I Pads have come with many facilities which we never could imagine two years back.
So , it is good to be back in circulation and I intend to be regular from now onward. I need to refresh my Twitter account also.
