Skeletons in the cupboard are falling one by one and it is told that there is no bail out by the Dubai government. What next?
It was very illuminating to go through an article which appeared in September this year in FAST COMPANY on Dubai after we heard about Dubai World’s payment crisis. The article was right on target but the reader’s reactions then makes very ineresting reading,now. People refuse to believe such scenarios.
We all know about individual ego and egotism of people in high places. But Organizational Ego is seldom written about.Is it the self- righteous and arrogant attitude of Dubai World and their illusory” false self “which caused this debacle or are there more chinks in their financial armor yet to be revealed. Only time will tell. For those adventurers in the desert country speculating future busnesses ,this should be a wake up call. After all,MIRAGES are known to exist in deserts whether they are covered with an oil film or not.
