What caught my eye was a reference to a recruiting program by the Shanghai Academy of Sciences to get back 10,000 overseas Chinese Talents to participate in China’s research development programs . It is rather fascinating to link here the ” Parable of Ten Thousand Talents ” with this modern effort by China. In the Biblical Story , one learns about God’s given gifts and its utilization for the good of mankind and creation of wealth where a measure of talent is interpreted in monetary terms .
