During my morning walk today , I saw a nice banner displayed in the front porch of a house ” Good Friend ,Good Life “. A good thought indeed .
It is said that when you think about a friend , you are already with him or her and the physical separation does not matter here . The technology of 3G now permits video interface but that is not the point here .
Do we value true friendship over family ties ? . Many people do . With family relations , we have inherent limitations in opening up because of hierarchy , ego , comparative status , multiple interfaces with complex balancing acts . But with true friends , it is predominantly friendship per se .
Imagine , college mates meeting after 50 years for a golden jubilee get together . I did that last year . What we do is recall our college life once again at the same plane irrespective of any difference in social status each of us acquired down the line .

This is where Friendship scores over Relationship in Life . Therefore , Good Friends really mean Good Life !
