A day of national glory happened otherwise on a day of disturbed memory-that of Babri Masjid demolition’s anniversary.Something to lift your mood.

Personally, I have been following Indian Cricket from the late 50’s beginning with the days of Nari Contractor,Polly Umrigar etc.The advent of the limited over matches played on a single day did bring down my interest on test cricket to some extent but I never doubted its place in Cricketing World. India has now three great world records to show off-The World cup in 50 over format ,T20 format and now the Great World Test Cricket Leader award by ICC. This achievement dwarfs the other two in many ways. The last 18 months of gruelling efforts , team spirit, intelligent and cool captaincy with personal example and leading from the front [Dhoni], great support from veterans like Tendulkar and Dravid, scintillating performances from Shewag and Zaheer, coming of age of Yuvraj and Shreeshant and new talents like Gautam Gambhir etc all helped achieve this great milestone. It is also very heartening to note that all the commercial distractions and political brinkmanship did not affect the standard of performance of our team. Long Live Indian Test Cricket.
